New Beginnings...

So today I took the first step into what will hopefully be my new career. After months and months of thinking of it, I decided.. why not! 

I have spent years in the events planning business managing events internationally and working for other people and I am really looking forward to doing something for and by myself.

I started planning my own wedding about 8 months ago when I first got engaged and I cant believe how much I have enjoyed it. Don't get me wrong their are times when it has been really hard and times when I just wanted to not do it but I could never do that to my OH.

I think however I am quite lucky, I have experience. I know how venue's work, I understand the ins and outs of corkage charges, what is and isn't reasonable to pay and most importantly how to select suppliers you can actually trust. So hence my reasoning for setting up on my own.

Hopefully all my experience will enable me to gain some clients! and create some unforgettable experiences for all the new brides out there.
